Country fans got some good news on Thursday when organizers announced some big names who will be performing at the 2023 Country Thunder music festival.

The three-day event, which is expected to take place from August 18 to 23, will host Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Jon Pardi. Country Thunder fans can certainly rejoice at the big names announced, especially Urban, as he was initially tipped to headline the 2020 edition of the festival which was canceled due to COVID-19.

“The hiatus from one of our favorite places in the world to play was too long, and 2022 proved that the fans in Calgary will always be some of the best in the world,” said Troy Vollhoffer, CEO of Country Thunder Music Festival . “So, it calls for an even bigger and better party for 2023. With Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Jon Pardi, we have one of the best line-ups from start to finish we’ve had in years, and we can’t wait for the summer 2023!”
Organizers said the lineup will also include Midland, Kip Moore, Carly Pearce, Parmalee, Jo Dee Messina, Hailey Whitters, Nate Smith, Josh Ross, Shane Profitt and Mackenzie Carpenter. More names should be announced in the coming weeks, according to a press release.
