One person is dead after a rollover accident early Friday on Deerfoot Trail.
Calgary police confirmed to Global News that a truck was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Deerfoot Trail when it collided with a car near the 32nd Avenue NE turnoff around 3:15 a.m.
One person has been confirmed dead, but the person’s age or gender is currently unknown.
At approximately 3:45 a.m. on December 2, 2022, Calgary Police closed all lanes of Deerfoot Trail between 32nd Avenue and 16th Avenue NE following a fatal crash.

Both northbound and southbound lanes of Deerfoot were closed between 32nd Avenue and 16th Avenue NE as of 3:45 a.m. while police investigated the crash.
In a tweet, Calgary police asked drivers to use an alternate route as the closure is expected to last several hours.
