Two people suffered minor injuries after a temporary wall collapsed inside the CrossIron Mills shopping center north of Calgary.

Airdrie RCMP received calls around 1:30 p.m. for reports that a light fixture may have fallen at the mall. When officers arrived, they determined that it was a temporary wall built inside the mall that had fallen.

Cpl. Troy Savinkoff said the wall fell on two people who were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Savinkoff said Occupational Health Safety was investigated. RCMP are not investigating any criminal aspect to the incident.
CrossIron Mills is located approximately 24 kilometers north of downtown Calgary, near the community of Balzac.
