    A lady died early Saturday after she was seen strolling into visitors alongside the Trans-Canada south of Cochrane, RCMP say.

    Mounties have been first notified round 1:30 a.m. of a girl strolling out and in of visitors on the freeway close to Hermitage Highway, west of Calaway Park. A second name quarter-hour later reported {that a} pedestrian had been hit.

    Officers and emergency medical personnel discovered a girl in her 30s on the scene. She was transported to the hospital, however succumbed to her accidents.

    The motive force of the Hyundai SUV concerned was not injured.

    Cochrane RCMP, with collision analysts, are persevering with their investigation.
