Monday’s stabbing in downtown Calgary was a random assault, based on Calgary Police Chief Mark Neufeld.
Police responded round 12:45 a.m. Monday to studies of a person with a knife who stabbed three individuals and assaulted one other whereas making an attempt to steal a handbag.
CPS mentioned the incident occurred within the areas of the 600 block of 5 Avenue Southwest and the 400 block of 4 Avenue Southwest and 5 Avenue Southwest.

Police charged one man in reference to the incident on Wednesday
Chad Carrick, 29, of Calgary, was charged with 4 counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of assault and one every of mischief and failure to adjust to a launch order.
