A Calgary girl died after a crash Wednesday morning on the Trans Canada Freeway close to Gleichen.
RCMP mentioned they responded to the collision on Freeway 1 at Vary Street 211, east of Gleichen, round 10 a.m. Wednesday. A passenger automobile collided with a semi truck on the scene, Mounties mentioned.

A 25-year-old girl from Calgary was the motive force and sole occupant of the passenger automobile, and was pronounced lifeless on the scene. The semi driver was unhurt.
Emergency personnel, together with an RCMP collision reconstructionist, attended the scene, and the trigger stays underneath investigation.
The accident closed the highway till Wednesday afternoon.
Gleichen is about 95 kilometers east of Calgary.
