British Columbia’s Ministry of Transportation says an “intense spring storm” is poised to hit a 150-km stretch of the Trans-Canada Freeway within the southeastern a part of the province.
DriveBC issued a journey advisory Saturday for a piece of Freeway 1 that runs between Golden and Revelstoke.

It says the storm is predicted to peak on Monday, which can require flood management work affecting site visitors in each instructions.
DriveBC says a closure of as much as 8 hours could also be crucial to make sure traveler security.
The journey advisory covers the stretch of Freeway 1 between Freeway 23 South and Golden Donald Higher Street.
It says it is going to subject one other replace on Monday.
