Bunbun’s story went viral after Alberta Senator Paula Simons tweeted a photograph of the rabbit she stated was discovered by her daughter at YVR on Dec. 20.
Simons’ daughter Celia Taylor says she dropped off the bunny at visitor providers.
Three days later, a lady responded to Simons on Twitter to declare that Bunbun belonged to her toddler son, sharing pictures of the pair collectively and a boarding go as proof.
YVR’s spokesperson says the airport reached out to the lady, and on Tuesday Bunbun was despatched to the household in Edmonton, the place they’re visiting from New Zealand.
Simons says she is glad the story has a contented ending.
