Two canines and a number of other chinchillas are lifeless after a fireplace at a southwest Calgary residence on Monday morning.
In keeping with Carol Henke of the Calgary Fireplace Division, firefighters had been known as to a fireplace on the 0-100 block of Cougarstone Cove Southwest at round 10:40 a.m. Henke stated there have been experiences of flames coming from the exhaust along side the constructing.
There was vital smoke and hearth harm to the primary flooring, in addition to some smoke harm to the second flooring.
Henke stated two canines and a number of other chinchillas had been killed within the hearth and a 3rd canine was taken to a close-by emergency vet. No one was residence on the time of the fireplace.
