    Postmedia to move Alberta community newspapers to digital, make changes in Saskatchewan

    Postmedia is transferring a dozen of its Alberta neighborhood newspapers to digital-only codecs, eyeing extra print outsourcing offers and shedding employees.

    The strikes have been introduced in an inside memo to workers on Wednesday The Canadian Press which describes the measures as a part of a change plan aimed toward managing prices. The memo says the plan will end in an unspecified variety of roles being eradicated throughout Postmedia within the coming month as it really works by way of vacancies and layoffs.

    It provides that the Postmedia publications transferring to digital codecs will make the transition on February 27, however didn’t say which newspapers will make the change.
