The Calgary Police Homicide Unit is investigating the suspicious death of a woman at a home in the southwest community of Lincoln Park.

According to police, officers were called to the home in the 0-100 block of Richard Court SW on Monday for reports that a woman’s body had been found inside the home.

Investigators from the homicide unit and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner were on the scene Monday morning. An autopsy is scheduled for later this week.
If the death is confirmed to be a homicide, it would be the city’s 25th homicide this year.
