One person died after a house fire in Drumheller on Saturday morning.
RCMP in the community were called to reports of a house fire South Railway Avenue around 1:30 a.m., a news release said Saturday. When the officers arrived, they determined the house had burned down and had been burning for some time.

Police and fire investigators found male human remains inside. The man’s death is not considered suspicious at this time.
An investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
“Drumheller RCMP extend their condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased,” the RCMP news release said.
