    ‘Nothing unusual’: Alberta MLA sees no conflict of interest in taking over wildlife rules

    An Alberta cupboard minister says he’s working with legal professionals and the province’s ethics commissioner over issues about attainable modifications to his division’s obligations that would put him in a battle of curiosity.

    Forestry, Parks and Tourism Minister Todd Loewen provides that it’s regular authorities apply to have somebody with a vested curiosity in an business oversee its regulation.

    Issues had been raised when observers famous that the United Conservative authorities was contemplating shifting duty for wildlife guidelines, akin to sport fishing rules and searching tags, to Loewen’s ministry.

    Loewen has a monetary curiosity in an clothes shop that gives guided hunts for a variety of animals.
