A current theft has given new that means to the title of a carving in central Alberta.
A five-foot-tall “Moose on the Free” carving was stolen from the entrance yard of a house in Sylvan Lake, west of Crimson Deer, on Jan. 3, based on police.
The customized carving is described as “one among a form” and value hundreds of {dollars}.
In a information launch, Sylvan Lake RCMP say the carving is of “vital significance to the proprietor.”
Police are hoping to return the moose to its proprietor.
