    Innisfail Mountie allegedly assaulted during drunk driving stop

    RCMP say an Innisfail Mountie was assaulted by two individuals throughout a drunk driving investigation on Saturday.

    Mounties say the officer was patrolling close to the Innisfail Hospital when he noticed a black truck run by a cease signal. The officer pulled the truck over and, upon talking with the 2 ladies within the car, suspected each the driving force and passenger have been impaired.
