    Former UCP leadership candidate appointed to AIMCo board

    The Alberta authorities has appointed a candidate who ran for the management of the United Conservative Celebration final 12 months to the board of a Crown company with billions of {dollars} in belongings.

    The province says that Jon Horsman will function a member of the board of administrators of the Alberta Funding Administration Company, generally known as AIMCo.

    It says in a launch that he’ll serve from July 1 to July 30, 2026.

    Horsman, who’s from Calgary, dropped out of the race final July to exchange former premier Jason Kenney, which was ultimately gained by Premier Danielle Smith in October.
