Calgary police are in search of witnesses to a deadly collision at a southwest metropolis intersection that left one lady useless.
At roughly 6:45 p.m. Saturday, a 48-year-old lady was struck by a maroon 2009 Honda Pilot on the intersection of 24 Road S.W. and 162 Avenue S.W. The automobile entered the eastbound lanes and collided with a bus shelter earlier than coming to a relaxation on the median after crossing each eastbound journey lanes.

In accordance with police, the pedestrian is believed to have been inside, or near, the marked pedestrian crosswalk on the time of the incident. She was transported to hospital in a life-threatening situation and succumbed to accidents shortly thereafter.
The driving force, a 49-year-old lady, was unhurt. Police say impairment and pace don’t seem like elements within the collision.
