Calgary police have closed 36 Avenue SE between 14 and 16 Avenue SE after a serious crash Monday morning.
“From what I can see, from my standpoint, there’s three automobiles in the course of the street — two with actually badly broken entrance ends and a 3rd car that’s sort of caught in between,” CityNews cameraman Nick Blakeney defined. “Police collision reconstruction is on scene and they’re conducting their investigation presently.”
Hearth and EMS attended the scene and fireplace needed to extricate some individuals from automobiles, Performing Sgt. Jason Van Dorp stated.
Two individuals have been taken to Foothills Hospital in severe situation, a 3rd individual was taken to hospital in much less severe situation, and a fourth individual was handled on scene and launched, he added.
“At this level, we expect a car crossed the centre line to trigger the collision, we don’t know what result in that,” Van Dorp stated.
