A Calgary man is in life-threatening situation after a pedestrian collision Wednesday within the metropolis’s northwest, police stated.
In response to police, a 22-year-old lady was touring westbound on 16 Avenue NW and commenced approaching the overpass that crosses Bowness Highway NW.
She started driving within the shoulder lane and struck a 46-year-old man who was strolling alongside the northbound shoulder of the westbound lanes.
She stopped “far away” and reported the collision to police, in response to a Wednesday afternoon launch.
The person was transported to the hospital in life-threatening situation, police stated.
Medication, alcohol and extreme pace are usually not believed to be elements within the crash.
