The 27-year-old Greer didn’t put any weight on his left leg whereas getting helped off the ice.
Greer has six objectives and 4 assists in 47 video games this season, his first in Calgary.
The Flames claimed Greer after the Boston Bruins positioned him on waivers in October.
Greer has performed for the Flames, Bruins, New Jersey Devils and Colorado Avalanche over a 155-game profession up to now.
