A 74-year-old man from Sundre will go on trial subsequent March within the 1976 dying of a 16-year-old Metis mom from Saskatchewan.
Ronald James Edwards is charged with non-capital homicide, which was an offence within the Felony Code on the time of Pauline Brazeau’s dying.
Brazeau re-located to Calgary along with her toddler daughter within the fall of 1975 and her physique was discovered west of the town hours after she was seen leaving a restaurant.
Edwards was arrested as part of a cold-case investigation utilizing genetic family tree.
