    Alberta government investing $11M into province’s aviation industry – Calgary

    The Alberta authorities is investing $11 million within the province’s aviation business over the subsequent three years with the aim of turning it into an aviation hub.

    The funding consists of $6 million over three years to assist Mount Royal College set up a bachelor’s diploma in aviation administration program, $4.5 million over three years for an “air entry scholarship” for college students in high-demand aviation applications and $500,000 to determine an aviation heart of to assist excellence.

    MRU’s program will add 120 seats over 4 years and would be the first of its type in Alberta, in accordance with a Wednesday afternoon information launch.

    The proposed program is an ordinary 120-credit diploma and can present two completely different concentrations. College students in search of admission to this system aren’t required to carry a pilot’s license.
