A multi-vehicle crash closed Deerfoot Path in southeast Calgary Friday afternoon.
Around 3:00 p.mthe Metropolis of Calgary Division of Transportation mentioned the incident was on Deerfoot at 24 Avenue SE, blocking the left lanes in southbound and northbound instructions.
By 4 p.m., southbound Deerfoot at Douglasdale Blvd/24 Avenue SE was closed, with southbound site visitors apparently backing up previous Barlow Route.
A spokesperson for Alberta Well being Providers EMS confirmed one individual was taken to hospital in life-threatening situation.
Deerfoot is the busiest street in Alberta, with greater than 180,000 autos per day.
