A Strathmore RCMP officer was concerned in a taking pictures early Christmas morning throughout an altercation at a gasoline station in Strathmore, east of Calgary.
Officers went to the gasoline station after a disturbance was reported round 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
A male suspect, who apparently brought on a ruckus, pulled a weapon on the police after they approached him.
“Officers fired their sidearms. The male was struck, handled by EMS and transported to the hospital with accidents on account of this incident,” in line with a information launch despatched out later Sunday morning.
The Alberta Critical Incident Response Group (ASIRT) is investigating the taking pictures.
