Known as Gabii to his close friends, he was the sole breadwinner in his household, providing for his mother and three siblings.
“Needless to say, friends and family of Abdul are riddled with both severe shock and a deep sense of loss; his departure left a void that would be impossible to feel for those who knew him,” the fundraising page said. “We understand that the best thing at this time is to comfort his immediate family and help them find solace in his absence. As such, part of a process of finding solace is for the family to mourn the sudden uprooting of their son from the earth with those who loved him.”
