City police have arrested a second suspect in a wild CTrain station fight that involved the use of a flare gun, but are still searching for two other participants.

On November 17 at around 2.15pm, several men started fighting on the second floor of the Marlborough CTrain station, an altercation that escalated with the use of a pipe in violence caught on CCTV.

Several minutes later, one of the fighters returned to the scene, pulled out a flare gun and fired it twice, briefly igniting one man’s jacket as nearby commuters dispersed to avoid the violence.
“The man who fired the flare gun fled the area on a departing CTrain and was arrested without incident by police at the Franklin CTrain station and is now facing charges,” police said in a statement Monday. press release said.
Evan Robert Mossing, 37, faces seven firearms offences, including discharging a firearm with intent while reckless and careless use of a firearm.

The police also identified and charged Layne James Deedza (22) with one count of assault with a weapon and two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Deedza appeared in court on Monday.

Police are looking for two other suspects in what they called “a reckless assault and shooting.”
One of the suspects is 20-30 years old, 6 feet. tall with a thin build and brown or black hair and was wearing a green camo jacket with a green reflective vest, a white hoodie and dark pants.
The other man has a similar physical description, but is 5 feet, 8 inches. and was wearing a maroon jacket with a red Vans logo on the front, a baseball cap, sunglasses and a wallet chain.
