The Transportation Security Board of Canada is investigating after a small plane was compelled to make an emergency touchdown on the Drugs Hat, Alta., airport round 11:35 a.m. on Thursday.
The TSB describes the airplane as a Beech 55 plane, owned by Tremendous T Aviation, a small industrial airline working out of the southeast Alberta group that gives constitution providers and flight coaching.
TSB investigator Mike Adam says the plane was on a coaching flight with a pilot and a flight teacher on board on the time of the incident.
He says upon returning to the airport the crew obtained a warning on board the plane that the touchdown gear on the nostril wasn’t locking in place.

Adam says they made a number of makes an attempt to manually lock it in place however had been unable to take action, so that they had been compelled to make an emergency touchdown.
