Pembina Pipeline Corp. says it has closed its beforehand introduced $3.1-billion buy of Enbridge Inc.’s stakes within the Alliance pipeline and Aux Sable gasoline processing facility.
The finished transaction sees the Calgary-based Pembina — which already owned 50 per cent of Alliance and 42.7 per cent of Aux Sable – purchase Enbridge’s 50 per cent possession of Alliance and 42.7 per cent possession of Aux Sable.
As a part of the transaction, Pembina, which is the present operator of Aux Sable, turns into the only operator of Alliance.

The Alliance pipeline is a 3,848-kilometre pipeline stretching southeast from B.C. that brings gasoline into Chicago’s Aux Sable, one of many largest pure gasoline liquids processing amenities in North America.
On Monday, Pembina up to date its 2024 adjusted EBITDA steerage to between $4.05 billion and $4.30 billion, up from earlier steerage of between $3.7 billion and $4.0 billion.
The corporate says the revised outlook displays the incremental contribution from elevated possession of Alliance and Aux Sable, in addition to a stronger outlook for its advertising and marketing enterprise.
