    Calgary councillor claims typo on mayor recall response

    Has Sean Chu signed the petition calling for Mayor Jyoti Gondek’s elimination from workplace?

    It isn’t actually clear at this level.

    This morning, the Ward 4 councillor replied to a query through electronic mail — from Feb. 10 — about whether or not he had signed it, indicating he and all his relations had signed “the shape.”

    Nevertheless, since CityNews revealed the story on-line, Chu has taken to the X account listed on his council web site, saying he regrets the miscommunication and hasn’t signed the recall petition.
