    Alberta government examines whether Edmonton, Calgary can pass single-use item bylaws

    Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has requested the minister of Municipal Affairs to look into whether or not bylaws in Edmonton and Calgary that require individuals to pay for issues like take-out and reusable luggage are inside municipal jurisdiction.
