    ‘Creating conversations’: New Calgary show brings Indigenous take on old western movies – Calgary

    Some artistic Calgarians are shining a brand new mild on southern Alberta’s western heritage.

    Indigenous and non-Indigenous performers are coming collectively to create an actual twist on custom – a brand new tackle the outdated west.

    “The present’s known as Indians and Cowboys. We’ve flipped it round and we’re attempting to retell the historical past,” director Michelle Thrush stated.
