Airdrie RCMP had been on the scene of a deadly collision involving two autos east of town on Friday afternoon.
Freeway 567 between Vary Street 285 and Vary Street 291 was fully closed.
It’s not identified how many individuals died.
A white semi pulling a loaded flatbed trailer was seen with entrance finish harm.
Freeway 567 runs in an east-west course and is named Veterans Boulevard when within the southern Alberta metropolis.
RCMP are asking that drivers keep away from the realm and use alternate routes, as delays are anticipated “for a while.”
